Dasine Asberry, 138, of Philadelphia, PA won a bizarre majority decision over debuting Kevin Carmody, 137, of Philadelphia in a 4 round lightweight bout on Friday night at the Lagoon nightclub in Essington, PA. Asberry (2-1, 1 KO) won by the scores of 38-36 (twice) and 38-38, despite having Carmody down three times in the bout. Carmody (0-1) boxed well throughout, but was decked once in the opening round and twice in the second round to cost him the decision.

Omar Pittman, 168, of New Jersey stopped Bertrand Tchandjeu, 168, of Cameroon at 36 seconds of the 4th and final round of a super middleweight bout. Pittman (2-0, 2 KOs) dropped Tchandjeu hard with a left hook for a 9-count, and the bout was stopped.

It was former Golden Glover against former Toughman, and the Golden Gloves fighter won. Dan Mullarkey, 227, of Upper Darby, PA stopped former three-time Toughman champ Dave Brunelli, 226, of Northeast Philadelphia at: 16 of round two of a scheduled 4 round heavyweight bout. Mullarkey decked Brunelli in round 2, and referee Hurley McCall deemed him unfit to continue. The card took place in front of an estimated 700 fans.

The next pro card for Damon “D Diddy” Feldman Productions will be held on June 5th at the Valley Forge Convention Center. A live card will precede the live telecast of the PPV show featuring Oscar De La Hoya – Felix Sturm and Bernard Hopkins – Robert Allen bouts taking place the same night.
